Lovely view, fresh sashimi, would recommend. One of my favs in HCMC – high quality and affordable sushi. 19/20 : rice on nigiris was very good, good be less sweet and a bit more agre… Had a bento box that was full of delights and a French white to go with it.
"Sorae" – Up in the sky , is one of the most spectacular Japanese restaurant-lounge and a "must go" destination at the heart of the bustling busy district of Saigon. "Sorae" is located in the heart of District 1, on the 24th floor of AB Building. It has a gorgeous 360 degree overview over to the city. In 1000 m2 of space, which can accommodate up to 368 people, Sorae offers delicious Japanese cuisine and entertainment, including a bar with hundreds of selected wines, international live music performances every night, and the finest cigar club in town.

I was hosting an important business meeting and decided on Sorae because they had private rooms. I only needed one if the smaller rooms as we were 4 but they had bigger rooms so I'm planning on visiting again when I need to host larger…groups. Its excellent for its privacy for those sensitive business lunches. There are great set lunches especially the bento boxes which eliminate all the mess of multiple course orders. The perfect match for my business needs. The staff were great and so attentive but discreet. More

This is an honest review alright. The place looks great, service is great, but the food is, basically average. I really dont get how people here brag about great food. It is solid, average, the price is absolutely off. There are much better places in…Saigon if one wanta to spend a lot for a good food. More

Lovely place on top of the building. Modern food, asian fusion.. Trendy place in Saigon, tasty food. Service is great. Another must try in Saigon for a relaxed evening.
