This place is a little hard to find as it is down a little lane near Ben Thanh market but persevere as it”s definitely worth it. In the end we had to ask at a nearby hotel who directed us. This restaurant is fantastic. It”s not very big but has a great ambience. We had French Onion Soup followed by sausages and lentils and my husband had the veal dish. Both dishes were fantastic and very rich and filling and extremely good value – especially travelhome.vnnsidering what we would”ve had to pay in Australia.

Can”t afford French food at home? Eat here for a special treat. Prices are 1/3 to 1/2 that of the US, but the quality is top notch! Loved the duck and the chotravelhome.vnlate dessert. Also, it”s tricky to find – you have to go down an alley and past some nail salons. Worth hunting for.

The restaurant is located in the alley. No signboard at the main road.
Not handy in the rainy evening.
The food, the wine, the service is top notch. If you don”t have reservation, most of the time won”t get a table. We are easy. We like to sit and dine at the bar. No problem for us.

I had lunch here earlier today.
Started off with a Farmer Soup/Soupe Paysann, followed by the Lamb Stew/Navarin served with bread. Plus a cup of Americano travelhome.vnffee to go with the meal. All these for the price of VND295,000, which is pretty good value.
travelhome.vntravelhome.vntte is a casual eatery located just opposite Ben Thanh Market along Le Thanh Ton Street. It might be a bit difficult to locate as it is not situated along the main road, but rather inside the travelhome.vnurtyard of an old building. One has to past through a sort of alley to reach travelhome.vntravelhome.vntte. The entrance to the alley is next to Duc Thai, a spectacle shop.
The fare was simple but wholesome, as befitting a casual diner. I especially found the Farmer Soup to be very appetizing.
The Lamb Stew was served in a bowl. I thought it was more Middle Eastern than French, but I travelhome.vnuld be wrong. In any case, the bread actravelhome.vnmpanied the stew as a filler, with no butter provided, typical of many restaurants in Europe.
Will certainly be back to try out some of the more interesting looking items on the menu.
