So accomadating!! Ann helped sort us with a bike, map, safety gear, helpful information for the loop, and even plastic bags for our luggage incase it rained! Breakfast was also excellent.
This hostel is THE BEST one I've stayed in South East Asia so far. The staff is so helpful, always happy and eager to help you anytime. The dorms are super cozy: the courtains gives you privacy and the matress are SO comfortable (this rarely happens in Asia). The information provided for the loop is so helpful that I can't imagine doing it without that talk. And the motorbikes… well, being a bike enthusiast I can tell that Bong Hostel takes this matter seriously, the bikes are constantly mantained and in good shape, and I even saw a couple of brand new semi-automatics. Coming from Thailand and renting bikes that are not powerful enough for even travel aroung the city, these bikes are capable to do the loop 5 days, in any kind of roads and weather conditions. I cannot be more than thankful for my stay in the Hostel. This is a hidden gem in Vietnam and I hope more guests can enjoy it as I did.

This is a great hostel! The staff are lovely, the beds are comfy and the breakfast is really good. It’s also a great place to stay if you’re doing the Ha Giang loop. They have free info sessions and motorbike lessons every day and there are people heading out to the loop every morning so it’s a really good place if you want to meet others to do the loop with. They also have new bikes and gear to rent and they can arrange an easyrider for you if that’s what you want. There were 4 easyrider locals in my group and they were such fun to travel with, we had a right laugh! Biking the loop was the highlight of my time in Vietnam! (I can also recommend that you do the 4 day trip as opposed to the 3 day trip)

The team at Bong was super helpful and gave us all the information needed for the loop. Their bikes are great and well looked after. They offer joint starts so you don’t have any issues with the police and even teach you how to drive a semiautomatic if you haven’t done it before ☺️ Also you can book your bus with them so you can leave the day you come back from the loop. I loved staying with them and how helpful they were and would totally recommend staying their!

There is a lot of space in the dorm as well as in the shower which I loved! At 7 pm there is a family dinner for 80k which was nice and the breakfast is good, too. The Bong restaurant is around 700m from the hostel and serves really nice food (a little expensive though). Every night at 9 pm they give information about the loop and in the morning between 9.30-10 am there is a bike lesson. I did the loop with an easy rider which was super comfortable and everything organized! I loved it. The staff was nice.

The best choice in Ha Giang. The staff is awesome! They have clean rooms and bathrooms. The breakfast was good. The hostel was a really good place to meet new people. They have 2 hangout areas. The basement has got a bar, pooltabel, playstation 4 and speakers to play your own music. You can rent motorbikes to do the Loop. They are still new and even much cheaper to rent than in other hostels. For the unexperienced drivers they provide an insurance that covers any damage on the motorbike. They also give drive lessons to practice and get used to the bike. Every evening at 9 pm they give a briefing and information about the Loop.
