A limited use area with plenty of washes and trails. Must remain on approved routes. Cross country travel is not permitted.The Yuha Basin is rich in both human and natural history. Camping

Camping is only permitted in designated areas within the Yuha ACEC.Camping is primitive. There are no bathrooms, water or trash cans. Pack in, pack out.

Dogs

Pet are allowed and must be under your control at all times. Dogs off leash are frequently lost as a result of being frightened by the loud motor vehicles and/or illegal fireworks. I recommend putting a glow stick or LED headlight on your dog at night so that they can be easily spotted.

Shooting

Shooting is prohibited within 1/2 mile of formal campgrounds and should be conducted well away from other concentrations of people and property. Please clean up your cartridges and target material. Glass should not be used. Clay pigeons are discouraged as they”re difficult for the user to clean up all debris.
