Two-storied Rockin' sports bar along the river in central Da Nang. Any and all sports requested are available and shown on multiple screens, cold beer, lovely staff, pool table, and good tunes.

I stayed at a nearby hotel and visited this pub on a number of occasions during my week. I read a number of critical reviews of the Universal Pub so I had to see for myself. The level of entertainment, staff service and range were…quite good. The lady at the front of the bar touting for patrons did a great job but the owner could have been more welcoming to patrons to improve his businesses popularity. I felt that this bar had so much potential but really could be much better. More

There Saturday 6Sept. Few customers. Staff more interested in cell phone use or doing makeup in bar mirror. AFL knock out on tv but when asking for food menu told nothing available until 5.30pm or later. No food available is a NO NO in. Proper…sports bar. Hence left, and went to another just down the road. Will not return to this place as zero customer service More

Nice small bar that caters for both the western and Asian people Good staff, good service and nice clean pool table to enjoy while drinking a cold beer or two

Having had to resort to watching The Ashes through dodgy internet streams, our arrival in Da Nang offered new hope that we may be able to find an actual bar/pub to watch the cricket properly in Vietnam. Universal pub was exactly that place! It has…two large screens showing sport, a pool table, a darts board and a great friendly atmosphere. The food was very good too, if you want something western. Stopped here on our first night and it happened to be happy hour. Buy one draught beer and get an extra free, all good. Good location down by the river and helpful staff.

The bar staff were really good but we are giving this bar one star because of the alarming way the staff were treated. We are not sure if it was an owner, or just an expat manager but the way this man treated the Vietnamese…staff was appalling. The staff were trying to help us stabilise a table and this expat guy treated them disgustingly, rudely calling the kind girl, “stupid!” Unacceptable.. no one deserves to be spoken to like that… TREAT YOUR STAFF WITH RESPECT! More

Was walking along the riverfront and decided to stop in this bar for a drink. It's a nice bar with a great view of the river. There is a pool table as well as a dart board if interested in games. The bar has a…good selection of beers and cocktails, and the prices are reasonable. The server was efficient but made no effort to be friendly or welcoming, but was attentive. Looked to have a good food menu though had already had dinner. Looks to be one of the nicer bars on Bach Dang street which has many bars. The crowd was a mix of younger westerners and a few younger local ladies when I was there, which may not be typical crowd. Definitely worth a visit. More

Simply put the best sport's bar in Da Nang. Showing the 6 nation's rugby, premier league football and cricket to name a few. This is a two level bar that serves great food. You have a free pool table as well. On top of all…that you have really great staff. More

We got here early to watch the Super Bowl. Great that they were open. But we ordered food and an hour later they the food didn’t come out. So we cancelled. When we tried to get our bill this guy wouldn’t even look up at…us even though we called out several times. His phone is more important than serving customers. More
