For a fun-packed stay in Berlin, join us at Sunflower Hostel, our laid-back home in a young, buzzy area. Get to know Berlin’s coolest insider spots with our free daily walking tours and find out about the coolest bars and restaurants from the friendly staff at our 24-hour reception. Or maybe you fancy setting up an international table-football tournament – or having pre-drinks with other travellers, in which case, head to our bar which stays open 23-hours a day.

Location

You’ll find us in trendy Friedrichshain, an area known for its bars, cafés and restaurants, as well as legendary clubs like Berghain, which is less than 5 minutes” walk away. You can also stroll to Berlin’s East Side Gallery from the hostel in about 20 minutes, while Ring Centre shopping mall takes about 15 minutes to reach by metro. From Berlin Schönefeld Airport, take the RE7-RB14 train to Ostbahnhof, then take any S-train east to Warschauer Str metro. We’re a 6-minute walk from there.

Rooms and Dorms

At Sunflower Hostel you can choose from large and small shared dorms, private double and single rooms, or go for apartments with private bathrooms and a kitchenette. These are ideal for couples. All of our beds are super comfortable and come with free linen and towels, so you”ll have less in your pack to weigh you down. We’ve got hairdryers for hire at reception if you need one.

Extras and activities

Here, free Wi-Fi throughout the hostel is a given, as well as useful facilities like free use of our washing machine, and security lockers for your valuables. If you fancy seeing the city under your own steam, we can help you with bike rental and you can park your wheels outside the hostel. We’re sure you won’t get bored in this lively city, but if you need a little downtime, our board games and book exchange will keep you occupied. If you want some peace and quiet, we’ve got a library as well as a TV room.
