“We were given an absolutely gorgeous room! A romantic bed, a sunken bath with a huge dressing room and plenty of storage space. Outside, we had 2 chairs and a table to enjoy our afternoon tea.The gardens are very attractive with young, polite staff always working diligently. The breakfast each day was superb! We are vegetarian and had lots of tasty choices. The kitchen staff gave an excellent service.The cooks make super poached eggs! Thank you to all! The tea room is also beautiful with comfortable seating and amazing food.The young women who served there were gracious and friendly. We enjoyed swimming in the heated pool. Everything was a pleasure to us. At reception we were always given every attention and good advice. We loved our stay and send huge thanks to all at Pilgrimage Village!…Oh, and we really loved the little handwritten story scroll that was delivered each evening…the gentle touch of a beautiful culture and village! x”Read more
