Always a good meal and drinks at opera bar.One of the few benefits of COVID you can actually book a seat now.Lots of kids menu options now too.
High prices and big lines should be expected in tourist spots like opera bar and it’s worth going for a drink and a snap for Instagram – but don’t expect much more. It’s not worth staying beyond a drink as the menu is expensive and…not very good and in our experience the drinks consistently took 15-30 minutes to arrive at the table (even when they were just cans). The one cocktail we got wasn’t good either. We stayed long enough to get a few rounds as we were waiting for a friend – so we know the slow drink time isn’t a one off. This is a bar worth visiting for the view and vibe, but there are plenty of better venues in the area to head to afterwards.More
We meet family and friends at the Opera Bar often. Food and service always good and it's so nice to see people out and about again in Sydney.

Great cocktails, food and music right at the water front between the harbour and Sydney Opera house. You cannot get a more remarkable spot!
The venue is in a beautiful location with views of Sydney Harbour, Bridge and Opera House. Staff very friendly and accommodating when we had an extra person. Food good and arrived promptly. Shared a cocktail that came in a jug which was really good.
It’s a must if you are visiting Sydney or just spending time with friends. The view is spectacular. The venue is just great. Fabulous friendly service. A menu that has something for everyone. A light snack or a full meal. It’s just a great place.

Super-friendly staff, and the food was very good quality. The sashimi and oysters were very fresh, and the nectarine salad was delicious.
