It is the best boutique hostel that comes with a romantic touch, yet the social factor we all enjoy in a hostel.

It is the kind of luxury hostel couples will enjoy for sure.

There is different types of private rooms. Check carefully when booking.

All private rooms come with real double beds. A real double beds means one king-size bed (and not two separate beds pushed together as one!).

Best Hostels in Paris for Solo Travellers?

Here we want to give an insight on the best hostels in Paris for solo-travellers.

This counts for both male and female travelers.

If you are really looking for some party, then scroll up again and get our recommendation from there.

The St. Christopher’s Inn Gare Du Nord is the coolest party-accommodation in town, perfect for solo-travellers, students and everyone looking for a party time.

If you want it a bit more calm, yet super fun and cool, then here you go:Generator Paris is your pick!

It is super safe place that is really clean. They also offer many facilities for people to connect.

The bar is a hotspot, for instance.

They also have ping pong tables, foosball and much more. They also have their roof top terrace that is a guarantee to meet people.

Here is our guide on how build lifetime friendships in hostels.

As for sleeping, you can choose between a mixed dorm and the only 8-bed female-only dorms. The mixed dorms come with 4 beds (the smallest option) up to 10 beds per dorm.

Good to know: All dorms have private bathrooms! You only share these with your room mates, and not the whole floor.

Disadvantage: The only disadvantage about Generator Hostel Paris might be the lack of curtains in the dorms. If you are a solo-traveller looking for a top-hostel with curtains in the dorm, then we recommend Les Piaules.

Below I included two photos for you to compare it easily. It is just a detail, though I enjoy the curtains in a dorm.

FAQ

What are the best hostels in Paris with private rooms?

That’s easily our #2 recommendation Les Piaules.

The private rooms are pretty swanky, with a tea/coffee station and big bed with complimentary towels. *Swoon*.

What are the best hostels in Paris near Eiffel Tower?

If you’re happy to take public transport, you can reach the Eiffel Tower from any of our 3 hostel recommendations within 15 minutes.

Otherwise, walking can take anywhere between 1-1.5 hours.

Our advice: talk with the hostel staff and find out the quickest & cheapest route.

What are the best hostels in Paris city centre?

Generator Paris, Les Piaules and St. Christopher’s Inn are all within a short metro ride to the city centre.

We don’t recommend staying right in the middle of the city. Belleville and surrounding neighborhoods offer a more traveller-friendly vibe.

Our website is focused on bringing you a handpicked selection of cool hostels all around the world. Here you can find all our handmade best hostels in the world guides; from Paris to Tokyo.
