Much more than we expected!…a tour of the orchards, a train ride, a fun play ground, a boat ride, fruit tasting and feeding farm and local animals! We loved the tasting and you can buy the fruits you like at their fruit stand when you are done. We had teens to a two year old and everyone had a good time. It was a great value for the money compared to many other things we did on our trip. You only have to pay extra for feeding the animals (a buck or two) and to buy the fruit afterwords. Plan on spending a half a day to take it all in without being rushed. The only disappointment was the café was closed for repairs and the animal feeding was from the fence and most places we visited let you in with them. Drove here from surfers. a tad expensive for ride and tour, fruit for sale very unripe and took too long to ripen, I waited 5 days for some of my purchases to ripen to taste, but had to throw away loads prior to flying back, waste of money… picked out by the owner and told would ripen before my return home…. The only fruit that was ripe enough to try was the Lemon Sorbet fruit, which is extremely nice, worth a try. Gift shop a little over priced. Fruit ice cream (fruit blended with regular vanilla ice cream) a TINY cup about the size of the paper rinse cup at a dentists office….$6.50 EACH!…. and I had to buy THREE……$19.50 for 3 weeny icecreams, I felt quite shocked and insulted at the price really. Staff were friendly. Expected loads more from the brochure…. didnt deliver.
