Our Hotel is 2 star and locate in the centre of Cat Ba town. We have total 36 rooms and every room has 2 double bed. This Hotel was built last year.

A friendly family owns this average hostel. It's quiet, clean and small enough to meet other travellers easy. The breakfast is not included but cheap and tasty. The owners are very helpful and will show you where to go. All in all there's nothing special about this hostel but it is a good price/quality stay with a warm welcome.
The hostel is very well located, just a few minutes walk from the main street. Our room was very big, clean and comfortable, and there's a lounge downstairs to hang out. Breakfast is not included but is at a reasonable price. It wasn't our favourite but it did the trick. We had a very good stay at this hostel, and would definitely recommend the place.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, with a very cute kid and a puppy. You can have dinner with them every night for only 80,000, for which you get a homemade Vietnamese dinner consisting of e.g. rice, spring rolls, tofu in tomato sauce, omelet and more! Apart from that, both the room and the location are good; the room is spacious enough and had a nice shower, and from the hotel it was only a two-minute walk to the main street. The only slightly negative thing is that the breakfast isn't that great (we had banana pancakes with too much chocolate – I didn't know that was possible either) and also more expensive than other options down the street (e.g. 30,000 for the banana pancakes, 15,000 for tea).
We visited the Langue Hostel at our trip on Cat Ba. It is not a bad hostel. And the staff is really friendly and helpful. Only the room was quite old and you did not anything in the Hostel like a hairdryer, kettle e.g. Also nothing was included you had to pay for everything like breakfast or so. Therefore the prices for the room and breakfast were a little bit to high compared to other hotels on carbs with the same standards.
Visited during the low season so price for dorms were $4usd & private rooms were $7. Le (sorry if I got it wrong) and his wife were very friendly & helpful. He speaks good English too. The dorm room (on the 5th storey) was clean and spacious. Best part was having your towels & sheets changed everyday. Around 3 mins walk to the pier so good location too. They provide 1 free welcome beer per person. You can pay 80,000vnd (as at Dec 16) for the family dinner if you want to try some delicious home cooked viet food & socialise. Highly recommended!
