I spent only 1 night in this resort but my experience is absolutely wonderful, don't even want to go outside. The resort is located in a small road, so you have to walk around 200 meters from the main road to get there, but it will help you to escape from the dusk and the noise of the main road. The building is a little bit old but cleaned and well-maintained. My room is spacious and have a beautiful view of the pool and the beach. This is the place you can enjoy a peaceful vacation with hypes of tree, a big pool and a beautiful private beach which will make you want to stay in the resort whole day. Highly credit to the staffs as well because your guys are very helpful and make me feel very comfortable whenever I need any assistances. I will definitely come back again with my family.

Worth with what we paid. The staffs is fine, good breakfast arrangement. Room is clean and bright, quiet. The pool is clean and nice. Just only concern was far away from city center and entertainment We enjoy our stay!
The hotel is stunning, situated on the beautiful beach. I spent in this hotel 10 nights and can’t find even one bad thing about this place. The breakfast is great – lot of choices from Vietnamese to english breakfast, pool and beach – great. Taxi to Mui Ne cost £2, nearest restaurant 200 meters from the hotel. Recommend to everyone.

We arrived at Amaryllis in the evening after a long day of travelling. The check in itself was ok. We were told we had been upgraded to a better room and paid on arrival. The staff wanted to keep our passports for the entire stay in order to do the necessary checks, we requested to keep our passports and for them to do the checks and return them to us. This was met with a certain level of hostility but they eventually agreed, albeit the reception staff clearly had something to say about this as we walked away and after we collected them. I am unsure of whether they thought their unprofessional manner and talking about guests assuming that we did not understand them would go unnoticed, although, it is worth noting that this was not a trait exclusive to the reception staff as it became apparent that every member of staff we dealt with shared this characteristic. Not a good start. When we arrived the hotel was in complete darkness and did not seem very inviting. The “upgraded” room was actually the one we had paid for. Nor did we receive a welcome drink unlike other guests. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the staff were okay but stood around a lot laughing whilst we had to wait for orders to be taken even though the hotel was near empty. We went to bed on the first night only to be awoken at 8.30am the next morning by the maids constantly knocking on the door. Eventually, after the fifth knock, my partner opened the door to the maids requesting to come in and clean the room, making it clear that they knew we were in the room and were trying to wake us up. The rooms themselves are okay. They are dimly lit with minimal natural sunlight and are quite noisy. The beds are really, really firm, I would describe them as hard. The minibar is one where you have to preorder items you want to have them delivered the next day. There is a huge price list in each room of everything, from a glass to the umbrellas, to remind paying guests that no breakage would go unnoticed, minimal trust on behalf of the hotel owners I guess. The showers fluctuate between freezing cold and boiling and the water pressure constantly drops out. House keepers also sat in the doorways of unoccupied rooms talking in the afternoon and glared at us every time we walked past, then laughing as we walked away.Breakfast was average. A variety of Vietnamese and western dishes. Service at breakfast similar to our other experiences with staff being very unprofessional. One of the women on the omelette station was outright rude when requesting something from her. The pool was really nice as was the beach. But there wasn't anyone to take orders for drinks around the pool so you had to go to the bar near reception to order drinks, and bring them personally back to the pool. They charge a service fee for this regardless. Not at one point during the stay were we made to feel welcome. Even on checkout, we had booked a transfer to Ho Chi Minh through the hotel and were told we need to pay more to go via “limousine” (a minibus) because the coach was unavailable, only to be picked up by a coach! There is a lady hiring mopeds up the road for 150,000VND per day and she also sells beers for half the price of the hotel. Taxi into Mui Ne from the hotel was $2 one way.
