Price is higher
I planned to check out at 11:30am (30.10.2015), but at that time my friend invited me for a coffee. I asked the manager (a woman) if i could check out late, around 1pm. She said OK, free, no problem. But at 1pm, i checked out, one man told me beacause i checked out late, price increase 100.000vnd (room price: 450.000vnd), more than 20%. This hotel make me sick. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Stayed in this hotel in November.Was happy enough with our stay,close to everything etc. Was visiting Dalat again so my wife rang and made a booking for the next day,yes,he could give us the same room #501, price would be $30, $10 more then last time as it was TET (everything goes up during TET) When we went to check in,not only had they let room 501 out,they then wanted $40 for the substitute room! My wife called the manager(she speaks Vietnamese), he came from the sister hotel a few doors away and denied ever talking to my wife,FFS, she had his number in her phone. If you want to be mucked around,lied to and overcharged,book this hotel. We stayed next door at a brand new hotel for $45 for the night.

Our 6th visit to Dalat and we finally found a place that ticked our boxes. Stayed room 501 on the 5th floor for 400.000 dong a night. Room had very good free wi-fi, had a great view,and is right across the road from the markets with plenty of places to eat around as well.There is no on site restaurant but who goes to Vietnam and eats in the hotel any way? Room has a nice balcony and the view of the lake is great. Mini fridge,double bed with comfy pillows and a quilt.Staff were friendly and you can park your scooter easily in the foyer. Will definitely stay on our next visit.

CHANGED THE ROOMS
BOOKED TWO front facing rooms and getting there at the appointed time were told only one front facing available, it no longer had A BATH instead a shower room and TWO double beds for this they charged 500,000 dong PLUS building site next door waking one at 5.30AM,in fairness the side facing room WAS very nice and cost 450,000. STAYED THE ONE NIGHT and then went round the corner to the LUXURY of the Mountain Town Hotel (New BUILD) and got a deal 800,000 dong room for 500,000 for the next four nights. WILL go back to the Mountain Town but NEVER again to this one. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Nice and clean, Front facing best.
Spent three nights at this budget hotel, haggled a good price (450,000 dong per night ) and surprise, surprise, got the third night free. Nice view from the front of the lake and the market. We WILL be back.
