When we just came, we got a room that didn’t looks like the picture and there were a lot of mosquitoes. So I went to the lobby and told them I didn’t like the room etc. The showed me all the rooms they got and I got to choose which room I wanted. So after all I really like the place but must of all their staff!
A family-runned hotel. The couple (and son I think) do speak english – which is something special in Vietnam. Genuinely friendly, they gave us a fair discount for staying 2 nights. They'll gladly help you out.
Found this hotel as walk-in after moving from previous location. A surprising budget option on Le Lai across garden from frenetic backpacker area and near Ben Thanh Market. Looked at small single room for 300000 VND but took a larger standard room at rear for 400000 VND. It was clean spacious and comfortable had large window with lots of light. Bathroom OK but shower is over bathtub and Breakfast included have inlet and baguette or good chicken pho. Very happy with my stay here for 2 nights and would stay again.

Staff helpful. good clean 1 bed for 2 people for 400,000/night. breakfast included. the smaller 1 bed for 1 is 280,000/night. near cho ben thanh, pham ngu lau street, and the park. easily located in district one, but be mindful of the taxi drop off cuz it's one way for cars.
After trying a number of different Saigon hotels, we stay here 90% of the time. It is 380,000 for a room without a window and 480,000 for a room with. We splurge for the extra $5 and get a nice view of the park across the street with windows thick enough that the street noise is minimal and certainly never enough to interrupt sleep. The room prices include breakfast and the bellman takes your luggage up to the room when you check in. The elevator is especially nice if you're on a higher floor. One of the things I like about the hotel is that it's a three-minute walk to Pham Ngu Lao and another three to Bui Vien and the heart of the backpacker district, but completely removed from the craziness. It's a 10-15 walk to Ben Thanh Market or Saigon Square, though in Saigon's heat and humidity, we usually take a taxi. The staff is attentive without being in-your-face and there's a taxi stand in front of the hotel, so it's rare to wait even one minute for one. You will find good value here……
