Hostel Buffalo Quảng Bình Phong Nha Opentour, Buffalo Pub & Hostel (Dong Hoi, Vietnam)
A nice lovely hostel In the heart of Dong Hoi Quang Binh. Great staff that speaks good English. Soft beds, amazing view over Nhat le River and bridge! Also we have the one and only pub in Dong Hoi!
i was staying at Hue,in the central Vietnam. Having finished Hoi An, marble mountains and My Son, i was thinking going north to Ninh Binh, when i stumbled upon Phong Nha caves on the net. instead of taking a trip from Hue, it is better to take the evening bus to the city of Dong Hoi which is about three hours from Hue. the Buffalo pub & Hostel picked me up from the bus stop at Dong Hoi and arranged for a fabulous vist to Phong Nha and Paradise caves trip for a meagre 50 US Dollars. it was a great experience with a memorable boat ride inside the tunnel for about a kilometre and the water sports at Dark Cave. this city of Dong Hoi though on the active tourist map is well connected and as clean and freindly as other cities.

Nice people, good food. Party if you want or a relax night of sleep. It's one of the best hostels if been in Vietnam. It's really close to the beach and city center. Not that there is a big center but ya.. Willing to help you with everything.

We stayed here a couple nights and loved hanging out downstairs. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the manager Ky was super fun to hang out with. We met a lot of people in the pub area. The food is delicious and the drinks are priced well. We booked a private room and it had everything you need at a great price. AC, fan, hot shower, nice big bed, and lockers in the room.

Very nice people clean rooms nice and delicious food. And very good location near the Beach. You can get a tourist information for the national park near town. The pub down stair have snooker table and good beer. Worth of staying!!!

After some other (boring) hostels, this is the place I had tons of fun in. Cool people, cool staff (!), great rooms…And even if its a pub, its quiet by midnight so everyone can have a pleasant sleep. If u are in Dong Hoi you have to stay there! 😀
