This is an interesting coffee shop that uses full fat coconut milk in place of milk and cream. I had a glorious iced tea with ginger and orange peel. My husband had a chocolate-coconut milk smoothie and it was marvelous. We have already gone back…once and will try for tomorrow before we leave.More
I visited Ho Chi Minh City in November 2019, and was introduced to coconut coffee at the Cong Caphe in district 7. I literally dreamed about that coffee when I went back to the States. I had an opportunity to go back to HCMC in…January and my first stop was this Cong Caphe in district 1. It did not disappoint! My husband now shares my love of Vietnamese coconut coffee! The wait is long for the coffee, and there were no seats on the main floor so we ended up in the (low ceiling) loft, but the coffee was worth it. The decor is really unique and full of character and helps make the visit very special.More

This cafe is in the heart of the Bui Vien Street. If you happen to wander around this street during daytime especially when its super hot, drop by Cong Caphe to get that caffeine boost plus the refreshing coconut flavor taste, all-in-one. There's a library…nook at the ground floor and if you want more privacy, you can head upstairs. Wifi is free, just ask for the password. I also think the staff's attire look cool.More
Staff were a bit rude at once but we kept coming back for the iced coconut coffee and the passion fruit freeze.

Good coconut milk coffee. Cafeteria is super cute with small decoration and chairs. Good place for taking a small coffee break and do some work stuff/relax.

Wanted a latte hot, but served me coffee with condensed milk. Really, forget this stop. Not exactly what I wanted. Service ok, not to clear, better places around
It’s on level 1. Recommended by our local tour guide. Tried both the hot and cold coconut milk coffee. Very nice!
I was aware of Cong via you tube and found by accident when we went to visit the pink church only to find it closed, I looked around and Cong was across the road, very cool and relaxing, we sat on the first level with…a great view of the church. The coconut coffee was the best I have had in Vietnam. Tip go to the balcony outside on top level for cool pictures of pink church.More
